Re: Here are some other thoughts from this thought provoking movie!

[FRUITY POLITICAL RAMBLINGS WARNING] The whole "evil totalitarian fascist government" thing is really a cheap writer trick to criticize a republican government and fantasize about destroying it (usually because the writer is a democraty liberal or maybe an anarchist) without having to confront any problems they have with it, because it all becomes "well they are killing people and freedom" so the government side of the story only needs to have people on giant TVs screaming with fetishized symbols flanking them and also they molest children and oh bags over people's heads. This makes the idea of evil government even more imaginary and non existant than all the evil Foxkkk News(kkk) propaganda combined but it still yaks it up about how THE TRUTH is more important than anything in any situation which is of course bullshit and I should know because I've told the truth to the wrong people at the wrong times and boy were they pissed and didn't want to hear it and it got me in trouble a time or two hoo. A more interesting movie would be about all the gay principles the W brudors claim to champion in their gay movies but break in real life while getting movies made. It just an American version of the anime syndrome where a bunch of child molesters make ultraviolent porn cartoons with messages about how war is bad. But people are like OH THIS IS SO MEANINGFUL, and this is because they are buttfucking faggots. :( The republican flip side of this is of course ridiculous communist scares about left wing pinkos infiltrating the media government libraries whatever, and corrupting our children with the hottest muthafuckin porn video games which the same government people are beating off to anyway. And of course both sides accuse the media of trying to scare people one s way or another. Because hey if a deadly disease broke out somewhere nearby, no one REALLY would want to hear about it (they would like it to be a fun surprise I bet, yay!), the media makes you hear about it so you will obey government gasp. The American media probably could not be more independent from the government. Church is closer to state than the media is. The ultimate bullshit about this fruity mystical shit is how THE GOVERNMENT LIES. Government lying bad! What goes untouched is the idea that government is made of people, and people lie, therefore any lying from the government is by people just being themselves, and not from any jack boot assassin squad disappearing lesbian Hollywood actresses and trying to silence Tim Robbins, but just from anyone, not exclusive to the government or religions or schools or movies or parents or friends. And what if the enemy government was not a bunch of lying people, but people actually trying to run a country, with people doing what they think is right and conflicting viewpoints and both sides possibly being right? But I guess that would be harder to make a movie of, because you might actually have to write something. The upside is that this better, more interesting, original, and difficult version is already made. It's called Battlemotherfuckinstar Galactica. Battlestar Galactica: 10/10 V for Vendetta: fell off the scale because BSG blew it off/10
Great minds?
