The sensation that you are in a square disconnected from everything else. I really liked Flatspace until it became obvious that I was going to have to move one sector at a time across the screen. I should have used a cheat code for a better engine. Unfortunately, it appears that the same thing is there in Flatspace 2.0. I've heard great things about Star Rangers 2. Kabuke and Motherhead both liked it and those are two names I trust. The Quarter to Three crowd liked it, but my taste in games rarely mesh with theirs. Starforce being there is a negative, but I found the no-DVD crack on Gamecopyworld, so presumably that would allow me to uninstall SF. I'm leaning that way, though it's supposed to be released in America next month at a cheaper price point. I was unfamiliar with Starships Unlimited, thanks for the heads-up. I'll check it out.
