Firewire comes free with Audigy boards so no huge loss there. As for the SLI, yes FUCK having that option available. Though prices drop, people give away older vid cards, the homeless sold to organ harvesters. Shit happens. Price grabber is showing me A8N-Es at $104.00, A8N-SLIs at $117.00 and A8N-SLI Deluxes at $150.00 I have no idea what the state of the Canadian economy is, or if this is a more a philosophical issue with you, but I might be tempted to kick in the extra $13-33 bucks to keep doors open. An even more frugal solution is the Asus <a href="http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=207&model=596&modelmenu=1" target="new">A8N5X</a>. Which is almost guaranteed to make the homeless smile and nod in approval as you head home from the motherboard store.[/quote]
