ADDENDUM: a bunch of stupid fucks from #Power-Users weigh in
In a thread titled "how to deal with a stupid invitee?". Any emphasis is mine.

I'm really ashamed about having invited him and I don't really know how to deal with him. OK, leechers make other people's ratios, but this guy is just ridiculous in my opinion. How long should I wait until I report him?

i'd say at the VERY least, give him a week.

its unfortunate truly. But if he keeps on being a dick he will get auto ban. Forget em and let em learn the hard way. If they want to f00k up this chance of being on the best site for tunes then let 'em. Wank#rs

I reported someone I invited and got told the same thing, that they would be autobanned. Thing is that was over a month ago and he still has his account, with a horrible ratio. We really should be able to ban our own invites after a certain amount of time. I've got a few now I'd like to give the boot...

My advice, don't invite from the IRC channel. It is worthless. People that get invited from there are bad users. Now I know and I guess "knowing is half the battle".

I have a few (close, personal) friends who have totally embarrased me on this site, and would love to be able to take my invite back from them (and give it to someone worthwhile).

I was not a happy camper when I saw a user rape the board on an inivte I gave. Dragonnnn reminded me that your invitees are no reflection on you espcially if the turn out to be little pieces of toilet fodder. I send private followup messages to all the invitees to just be proactive on resolving any issues (technical) they might have and politely point out the FAQ and forums for potential locations for answers.
