Forum Overview :: Gamerasutra :: I gave up on it. And now it sucked me back in.
There are apparently no limits to what barracks fever can make one do. I see a little more why you like it, after having put in 20 hours. I am a little irritated with the extremely slow progress, not to mention the incredibly japanese way of making so many things OHNOIFYOUDON'TDO ITINBETWEENEVENTS34AND35YOUWILLNEVER,EVERGETTHE(insert useful item name here). The item creation is a little annoying, too. If they know everyone with half a brain is going to save at every step, why not integrate it in the invention interface? Would it kill them? Why make me physically wait for items to be created? Is this fun for Japanese people? Final Note: Reminds me a lot of being addicted to Wild Arms 3, + a lot of complexity and better combat - ease of use and gaming the system.
