Hahaha! All it lacked was Betteman telling me how great a time I must be having with this, his dream schedule length. I made it through the regular season of NHL 2000 and it correctly started the playoffs. Awesome. I get through the first two rounds and the Eastern Conference Championship has my Flyers versus the Senators. I saved the game before a faceoff and exited and came back to the game a while later. The ref then <i>never drops the puck.</i> Ever. I call a time-out, go back on the ice, save, come back... nothing. So I took a break for five years. Sounds like NHL2K4 is my man if 2K5 is destroying progress. Although I guess to be fair if they can destroy all progress in real hockey I shouldn't hold it against 2K5 for doing the same, har har. I really wish someone would make Mutant League type games again. After a certain point in career league games you get more invested in your made-up players than all but your favorite real guys anyway. Plus, who doesn't like shooting pucks against a giant, slavering maw? I guess someone sort of did that in the Xbox game where they curse all the time (Deathrow?) but I've never played it, lacking an Xbox. ICJ[/quote]
