You all realize you could get retail jobs at computer stores, play the star wars soundtrack on one of the display boomboxes, and get the same exciting experience only you GET PAID instead of pay monthly fees for the priviledge? And why would moisture farming be a profitable job on naboo?[/quote] It really does seem like the vast majority of people really are just doing virtual menial labor. It makes me weep for mankind. I so many more craftsman and image designers and entertainers than anything else. I wish they had just taken Planetside and slapped some Star Wars skins, sounds, and vehicles onto it. But I am having fun exploring and hunting animals. And killing all the jawas and gungans I can find. And the way the factions work, it's cool to be around when some Rebel player accidently walks into the wrong part of town. I've see a few groups try to raid into the main Empire towns (Theed on Naboo mostly) and the whole place just errupts into a firefight. Best moment so far: Me and Babie are stalking up to some Rebel NPC outpost. We kill one of the guards, then I see Barbie's blip on the radar all the sudden take off and start running around in circles. Me: Hey, you all right? SB: They are chasing me! Me: (after looking over the cliff down to where he is without seeing anything) Who is? SB: EVERYONE! I assume that SB just forgot his meds for the day and is now imagining monsters <b>in the game</b> so I get up and run down to where he is. I see SB run up over a hill, and then suddenly some giant fucking rancor looking things chasing 20 m behind him. Game: You have been slain by a Rabid Veermmeckeckecek thingie. [/quote]
