Frames are bad becuase they look chinsy, every browser handles them a little different, they usually break the back button, and don't index correctly. And supposedly future browsers won't even support them. Maybe I can figure a way around that. I'm not too worried about any non-MSIE browser besides a *little* Netscape and Safari (all my potential clients are Mac-users and are not, in general, computer literate), but I'll definitely make sure that everything is working on multiple browsers. I'm not sure what you mean by "not indexing correctly." You have to realize that this is my first non-WYSIWYG web document, so I am proceeding from a 100% webtard perspective. I'll dig around for "include files," but that's a term that I have not, to date, encountered yet. I'll dig around. I'm getting some original artwork for the site in a few weeks, so I'll have to do a radical redesign at that point anyways.
