League vs. Top Ten (Shameless ass-waving fanboyism ahoy. Also, OMG spoilers)

...where the Invisible Man was raping nuns-in-training and they thought he was an angel giving them virgin births. I'm surprised Disney didn't jump on this for their next animated classic. /jeep/ ...it is a good comic, but not near as good as Top Ten.
I'm not sure which I prefer. League has all those victorian literature references (Pollyanna's X-rated cameo still kills me), and the included Quartarmain story and games and shit (in the graphic novel, at least) were absofuckinglutely GOLD. Plus, it had Sherlock, the "boys own" ending grafs, and Hyde (who was was and is scary as hell.) Besides, any comic that has non-english speaking characters' lines written out in their own language deserves serious consideration for Best Comic Evar. On the other hand, there's nothing in League that even remotely approaches my three favorite scenes from Top Ten: The giant drunken 'zilla, Joe's Pi's debut, and the best scene in any comic ever: Smax: "With all due respect, Sir... Permission to use extreme force" Traynor: "Break her fucking neck, son." Smax:"Yessir". (Then again, why choose? Read both. Moore deserves your money more than you do. )
