I'm not a tough sort or a monster specimen of humanity or anything, but I think the combination of a minor, a <i>sword</i> and a carjacking attempt would probably induce a chuckle in me. Don't get me wrong -- a minor with a gun, or a ninja with a katana, or anything else that changes up the parameters would be a different story altogether and I would surrender my car and apologize for the tear-stains on the dash, but it's no wonder that these little fucks didn't get their would-be victim to pull over. I know in the article, the guy they targeted states that he was frightened, but in this situation that's like the thinking man's chortling. You just know that one of the kids had one of those poor, wispy, teenaged attempts at a moustache that he had been growing for four weeks for this thing, too.
