First: Beatmania and all its variations was, is, and always will be inferior to Parappa, so playing Beatmania superiority games are meaningless. Second: It is the predecessor of DDR. Thus, it is incurably associated with the removal of real arcade games from arcades so that large sweaty men can get their quasi-tapdancing groove on. This is not a good thing. Third: Amplitude and Frequency are variations on the music genre that actually don't play that much like Beatmania, due to the necessity of trackswitching. Yes, they have "notes", but so did Parappa; it's intrinsic to the genre. Fourth: Amplitude and Frequency actually have graphics that aren't poorly rendered cartoon dogs. Good graphics aren't necessary for good gameplay, but they're a bonus if they're there. Fifth: fag.[/quote]
