Yes, INC is the gay. As am I...
Hey Clair - tell some more about your professional life! We love to hear about it. Honestly! Frogger (Atari 2600) - flipping the board and watching the colors get all fucked up while froggy jaywalking at ludicrous speed. (Note to the under-25 crowd: "Flipping the board" was the 2600 equivalent of winning - it meant that the game was out of levels and was now putting back through again, usually at impossible difficulty.) Ultima IV - getting my last 8th was a pretty big moment, in a game that was pretty full of big moments. (HOLY SHIT WE FOUND THE MANDRAKE FUCK YES!). My entire 5th grade was spent in front of this wonderful, wonderful game. (Yes I know that it probably sucks compared to today's games) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - first game completed in an arcade. 10 minutes later it sunk in that anyone with enough quarters could beat it easily. Whatever, though. Eat it, Krang! Kid Icarus - first game I owned on 8-bit NES, and you better believe I played that shit all the way through daily for a month. Double Dragon (8-bit NES) - beating it. But no one was around, and no one believes me. Nowadays I've been disbelieved so long that I am doubting my own memories. But I beat that shit. St. Peter will know. <E/N> The half-dozen games I used as father-son time with my dad (the first actual interaction we had in our lives) Bard's Tale - Wings of Fury - F-16 - Echelon - Doom II - Outlaws - Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee (and Exoddus) Good times. </ E/N> Doom - Installing the shareware and realizing that - holy fucking shit - the best game I have ever played was really on sale for $5. Best marketing ploy ever. FoK
