I was scared of SARS until people started laying these stats on us like the fact that 60,000+ people die annually from the flu in the US. Then there is also this thing called respiratory syncytial virus or RSV which kills like 18,000 people a year too. Now I'm wondering why the fuck I'm not getting a flu shot every year. The flu and RSV have a death toll more than 5x that of AIDS! Flu shots are the new condom! In my panic, 16 deaths in Canada from SARS didn't seem too bad anymore.[/quote]
