Certainly, this remaster doesn't seem like a brand new experience. It is giving me Elder Scroll game highlights in the first hour and there are no annoyances. So that is good. I may see if someone makes a mod to turn level scaling off. It looks nice! The combat isn't fussy. The monsters look mean and cruel. We are 2 months away from the next Steam sale. I wanted to support what they did here, so I was happy to be a day one or two purchase. Because Oblivion can't throw brand NEW things at you, since you have seen it before and probably played these games for so long, it really loses out on one of the fundamental cool things about RPGs. If you give the old release of Oblivion 10 minutes and think "ugh" at some point, I wouldn't recommend it. If you find yourself starting to get into it, I would recommend this game, sure. [/quote]
