It's fine.
I have now recruited a number of NPCs. Who are PCs now I guess. I was shocked into seeing the 4 person party limit. Ya know. Like how they have it strictly set in AD and fucking D. I stumbled upon a puzzle solution (shooting a pillar with a bow and arrow) and two of my guys were standing underneath it and they died. Haha! No sarcasm, that was funny. OK, so I moved them and did it and went down there and got my team killed because there is another group down there for some reason who have 7 members. I tried verbally telling the game that the max party size was 4, and what they were doing was illegal, but I didn't see the spot where you can connect it with your microphone. I then held up the spot in the paper manual to my monitor to show them, underlining it with my finger, but now you know I am kidding because the game only cost sixty dollars, of course I didn't get a printed manual. Maybe if I paid a thousand. So this party will just have to "know" that what they are doing - hanging around in a group of seven - is very, very wrong. I expect to see them again the next time I switch over to playing XCOM. So I did the thing you do in D&D only when you are getting killed off, I used magic spells to buff up my party before the fight! Desperate times. As soon as I started winning, the other party cheesed out by throwing grenades and exploding explosive barrels that I was apparently right next to the entire time. I guess I need to gain a level before going back there. Boy, I bet that fight would be easier if I could have even five people on the team. That angry green elf girl is insufferable outside of combat, but I bet she would be better in it.
