[/quote] I went to install the Chemical Existence mod last night. I read the readme for CE and it said that I needed the 1.1.1.0 patch. I was at 0.6.0 or something. Anyway, first off, Sierra's "Auto Updater" is incredibly shitty. I tried at least 8 different recommended places to grab the patch and all of them failed. Even the one in Poland. The Greenland one I would understand, because apparently the fucking cavemen over there have descended into anarchy due to how they think Cure Light Wounds should or should not work, but even <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hollywoodreporter/international/brief_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1797381">the fagots</a> are living the high life in Poland. Secondly, the 1.00 version of CE apparently does not work -- at least on rigs like mine. It doesn't even get past the "loading" screen. You need to apply a patch to it. Fair enough, except that CE comes with its own Auto Update program and that, too, can't communicate with anything or initiate code downloading.
