Re: Getting rid of a bad boss is the best thing that's happened to me

My colleague: Do you want to be in this meeting? My boss: "I will b there if you think I need to b. If you want to handle it without me, that is your call. What are u thinking?" Can someone tell me what he's saving here?
Apologies for the delay but this is a classic, "Whatever decision that is made is yours so if anyone ever wants to yell about this it can't be my fault!" boilerplate. The fact that it's so poorly written and about a fucking meeting is what makes this guy a real turd. The flip-side is that if this comes from a reasonable person then this meeting is the start of a tsunami of shit for every last bastard. Learn the difference!
yah same here, all I care about is reporting to a reasonable person at this stage of my career and not getting hassled It really does make a difference
Thankfully he does leave me alone most of the time, actually. But I've learned that having been in the marines is an excuse to be an unprofessional jerk, so that's interesting. (My boss was a marine. Also, I should mention I've worked with a few marines who were awesome, and he's a dipshit outlier as far as I can tell.)
