It's good!
Comparisons to Factorio are stupid, it's more like a really action-y ARPG mixed with a base-building RTS ala. "They are Billions" or "Rise to Ruins." Other than having to run unobstructed power (and later liquid) pipes between structures, there is no logistics. Resources are automatically added to your stockpile. Your mech controls like a mouse-WASD twin-stick shooter, with two active weapons mapped to either mouse button, and the ability to hotswap in 3 for each, for a total of six weapons. Skillful maneuvers count. Maps are randomly generated, including campaign maps. Campaign mode takes place in discrete "zones" which are seperate maps with different biomes each. As you tech up and collect alien resources, you gain the ability to build custom weapons that can slot in modifiers; higher-tier means more modifiers. The modifiers function kinda like blessings in "Hades." The game engine is incredible, rendering a huge physics-simulating world with thousands of monsters with buttery-smooth framerates on my budget GPU. Though note the game is supposed to be pretty CPU-hungry. I give it a thumbs up recommendation, just like all the other reviews. Quit stalling and buy it, already!
