Creating Electronic Music with ChucK
[quote name="Fullofkittens"]I've become somewhat infatuated with the electronic music programming language ChucK lately. I wanted something that could sort of scratch both my itches of learning more programming while also still playing around with electronic music, and this is a fun way to do that. To that end, and also as a longform scenario test of a video editor, I've been working on a set of YouTube tutorials about how it works. I'm 18 tutorials deep at this point and it's starting to get kind of interesting IN MY OPINION. This is the intro, pitching (!) why you might find it interesting: [youtube id="toFvb6uqiDc"] and here is the latest installment, detailing how to use ChucK to make Squarepusher-style drill n bass beats. (For those born of you born after 1990, Squarepusher is a musician. He made music with lots of cut up beats in it. His album Ultravisitor is wonderful and 100% worth checking out.)
