Re: How did you like the pilot, Commander?
I thought it started slow then got slihtly better as it went along although some things seemed a little strange. The part where Dash is able to kill all her attackers reminded me of a similar incident where Douglas Quaid kills the men trying to kill him in Total Recall. Same lightning-fast reflexes, same immediate familiarity with weapons, same result, Thinking on it now, this brigs up the question, if she was either a sentient android like Commander Data (a mechanical machine), or a cyborg (a machine surrounded by living tissue like The Terminator, something I consider much more likely since she had a boyfriend with whom, presumably she had been intimate with) then she was going to be extremely hard to kill and sending everyone after her to within assault range was essentially sending all of them on a suicide mission. Two or more should have been at opposite ends of sniper range to take her out from a long distance. Also, the "no evidence of a firefight" story related to the second fight. So, mqybe she had a shield on. Once the explosion goes off, the shield gets vaporized. And even if her attackers were wearing shilds, how do their corpses disappear. Either someone has to come get them or they have to be transported out of there. But I remember, it's been reported that teleprtation leaves traces. And even if every shot she fired hit them, every shot they fired had to miss her. And if you fire an energy weapon and the shot hits the wall it's going to leave a scorch mark. And how does Picard flip himself over as if hit by a blast wave if there was no blast? That also should have left residue and/or scorch marks. I also felt previews took up too much of the run time. It should have been a full 46 minute show, then show 4 to 6 minutes of future previews, not 40 minutes of show and 6 minutes of previews.
