At the end of the day Johnson should have had the self awareness to say 'No' to the job since this toy box was not a good fit for him. Considering his pettiness on Twitter I fear he didn't actually learn anything introspectively about the whole ordeal. However at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, because it's all crap anyway. The "best" JJ and $200M can deliver is a string of inciting incidents to breakneck FX cataclysm with no real reason, payoff, or emotional weight. It's a flat formula for a single film, and scales just as poorly for a trio of pictures.[/quote]
