I just have a regular PS4. It's upstairs. I am on my second Xbox 360 and it started just failing to deliver video and graphics to the TV, while on. I really don't want to buy a fucking third one. So I am considering making the PS4 the movie player and downstairs game console. My question is: 1) On the 360, I can stick a USB stick into it with an avi file on it, then get frustrated because whatever file format pirates use doesn't work on the hunk of shit that is the 360. Does this functionality exist for the PS4? Can you (try to) play movie files from USB sticks? 2) On the 360 you can also stick a USB stick for external disk space. I filled up my PS4 by not waiting in line to get the game disc for RDR2. Can you use external storage the same way for the PS4? Also please help the OP decide his decision, thanks. ICJ
