GameStop looking for a buyer.

Flack went to get the PS4 Battlefront bundle and says that the GameStop (nee Electronics Boutique) guy did the "Pfffffffffth" thing at him. Flack says the guy told him "You --" Wait, lemme post it. 15:37 @Flack> He made the phhhhhhhhhhth sound. 15:37 @Flack> Is that right? 15:37 @Flack> And then said, "you can't just walk in on launch day without a pre-order." 15:37 @icj> I think Bloom County spelled it Pthpth! 15:37 @Flack> Yes, that's it. 15:37 @Flack> So then we went next door to Walmart and bought one.
[twitter id ="1009626140179337222"] One thing to clarify, GameStop bought EB at some point. I never worked for GameStop while in college, but from all indications the policies present at EB were either the same as GameStop's or absorbed by them. And lots of EB stores just seemed to slap a "GameStop" sign and proceed as they were. Anyway, look at these assholes. GameStop is the one corporation where you can blame the rank and file just like you can blame the distant managers creating policy that would never set foot in one of their own stores. In this thread alone you have a company that sells games that turned off FABIO, Ice Cream Jonsey and Commodork for fuck's sake. I couldn't even throw out a number on what the three of us have spent on games since this thread started 14 years ago. It's easily thousands. They were considered an annoying joke staffed with arrogant cocksuckers (The one near my house is actually made up of nice men and women that have never pulled any of the shit discussed in this thread or elsewhere.) that had a business model of: 1) Not selling stuff they had 2) Not selling stuff they had to people with discretionary income that would have gladly given it to them ICJ
