Mech 4's streamlined mech design system was interesting and made sense, yet, gameplay never evolved beyond lance shooting at each other. Couldn't we have have participated in a full scale planetary assault like in the books? Guess not. It's back to defending my own backyard. <b>Ultima IX</b>: uhm, what's there to really say about this that hasn't been bitched about before? Actually come to think about it. Most heavily hyped games tend to turn out like this. It's as if game designers spent all their time on technical achievements and just plain forgot that they making games that were supposed to be fun to play. [/quote]
