Re: This was my frustration this campaign post-primary.

What parts of Hillary's agenda did you actually support? The Trans-Pacific Partnership? Regime change in Syria? More affirmative action and quotas? The Dodd-Frank financial bills? Open borders ala DREAM? I'm not trolling you, just honestly curious.
Hillary didn't have a fucking platform, it was a visionless campaign of pure narcissism. There's a (probably made up) story I read while applying for law school about a student who got a perfect 4.0 GPA and a 99th percentile score on the LSAT who applied to all the best law schools in the country but on the "why do you think you should go to our school?" essay portion he just wrote "look at my transcripts." The story ends with him rejected by every single school. That's Hillary's campaign in a nutshell. A vote for Hillary was a vote for the status quo, nothing more and nothing less. When her opponent was Bernie Sanders looking to patch the holes that have been poked in the New Deal, sticking with the slow decline of the status quo was an unacceptable compromise. When her opponent was Donald Trump promising to recreate the tax and market regulation environment that lead to the Great Depression, a slowly declining status quo became really, really appealing. Since I voted Nader in a swing state in 2000 then witnessed the results, shifting gears was a lot easier for me than the Bernie or Bust crowd. Left to her own devices Clinton would have done no good, but she was a craven politician who could be pushed when, as Bernie Sanders says, millions of people come together and organize. When 4000 veterans descended on the DAPL protests ready to act as human shields against police brutality, Obama blinked. I've no reason to think Hillary wouldn't also. Will Trump blink in such a crisis moment? Will he say, open fire? Nobody fucking knows, least of all him, it seems.
