Despite offering a tantalizing assortment of real-world weapons, the only ones that were worth a damn - the AK, Minimi, a couple others - are all chambered in a generic "7.62mm". This is because the developers, who worm said were literally Hitler (there's only so many posts, Glenn, try reading them), were too lazy or rushed or understaffed but probably lazy to salt more than one caliber on the actual battle maps. You better believe I'm still righteously pissed about that. If you can't understand why, maybe you don't care as much about video games as I thought. There are a million more obvious examples of universal ammo ruining games, but that's the one my mind went to. I think because I saw it on my GOG shelf when I went to claim my free copy of <a href="https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/11/03/gog-monstrous-fall-sale/">Twinsen 2</a>. Oh shit, did I just destroy my entire argument by finding a second good Rock Paper Shotgun post? You'd better hurry up and quote this part before I delete it.
