What I care about is what's on the page. And what's there is pretty good, by Rock Paper etc. standards (and, let's face it, by Wordpress-era Caltrops standards, too). I would be proud to publish it on my icycalm's arcade fetish website, and I wouldn't even feel the need to insert a bunch of dickish little asides like so much actual icycalm. If anything, Lo's article left me hungry for a similarly critical examination of how the mechanics in Gone Home work to strengthen female bonds and stop sisters from clawing each others' eyes out like ostriches or whatever. But that's never going to happen, because Gone Home doesn't have any fucking mechanics, and just by saying that another angel got their wings.
