Bernie wants to see him tried. Yes, Hillary and Trump do too, but that's consistent with their messages. Hillary is marketing herself as a ruthless woman; Trump as an authoritarian nationalist. Of course they want Snowden in prison. But Civil Disobedience Sanders, who says the problem with this country is that too many fat cats get away with their crimes, thinks that the guy who exposed those crimes should go to jail (while politely declining to attack Hillary on her e-mail shenanigans). I think it's because he's a con-man. Yeah, he was an idealistic Doctor-King-marcher-wither, 50 years ago, today he's an old man with a patchy employment record and no savings. His conscience isn't guiding him, on Snowden or anything else. He's pandering. [/quote]
