Note that the Sanders proposal is also very retarded although in the opposite direction (10 trillion dollars over a decade of new taxes). If this was a ploy to starve the beast and force the government to drastically reduce Social Security, I'd almost be okay with it (or at least respect him for being the first Republican president in 50 years to actually cut the federal government) because fuck Baby Boomers. But it's not and I resent his pandering to their demographic while forcing workers to pick up the tab after he leaves.[/quote]
