I think they know what they're doing

I like Oliver, sort of, but trying to "change Trump's name" is pretty weak.
They end most segments with "what can you do?" They know their audience is primarily millennial slacktivists. They know they aren't likely to do anything beyond sharing social media shit. So they run with that and try to channel it into anything remotely productive. Most people aren't aware of supreme court cases. Said cases are publicly available audio. Nobody is going to listen to them. How do we get our audience to educate themselves on this? Provide stock footage of dogs dressed as judges, encouraging everyone to pour over case audio trying to make Youtube dog videos! Your giving Trump supporters too much credit if you think the name thing is meaningless. They worship him and his projected "brand" of success. eThey are never going to listen to logical arguments against him because they never listened to logic falling in love with him. All the "Hitler" comparisons are worn out, so what do you do? Getting the slacktivists to spread awareness about his embarrassing original name is about the most useful thing you could hope for from millennials. His supporters are the people who think Obama is a Muslim, that Ted Cruz isn't eligible because he was born in Canada to American citizens, and believe Trump's own words that Jon Stewart should be ashamed for changing his last name. Attack the name brand, attack the celebrity. It might fill some teabaggers with enough doubt to sit out the election. Can you think of a more effective undermining strategy against Trump that would both sway his supporters AND be realistic enough for social media slacktivists to undertake?
