If the Turing test is limited to people sitting down in a monitored setting and told they're participating in a test, then it might pass since everyone will be very formal and polite. But the minute people start really talking to it like a person and pushing the limits of its conversational abilities, it'll be easy to find out which one is a robot because it's probably going to be a long, long time before programmers figure out how to really give a computer personality (truth + nerd joke). Computers will be fine at returning intelligible responses that make sense in context and can even be informative and useful (Siri, Cortana, etc), but they won't be good enough to be something you'll want to sit and talk to.[/quote]
