Also back to your other post that I never responded to: As far as Max, she is the ultimate fake and that's what makes her a great video game protagonist in my eyes. Literally right after gaining the ability to rewind time she used it primarily to get people to like her, whether it's faking interest in things she doesn't care about (like drones), pretending to actually know about things(John Lennon, Famous Photographers) or remembering the last names of people she doesn't care about, it kind of solidifies the character as a underachiever who is pretty happy to coast. I would agree about the whole Polaroid camera thing if I didn't feel it was just them trying to get retro points and wanting a way for the pictures to be in her little notebook without doing something too 'interfacey'. I get it you hate hipsters, but it's more a contrivance than anything else. They could have done more to establish the character being at good at photography but they don't care about it, and neither should you really. It's just there as a device and it could be any sort of liberal arts program.[/quote]
