His live comedic presence is terrible and his "jokes" are just the other actors trying to play along by constantly nodding. Everyone has aged surprisingly well...except Cooper and Katie. Katie looks like she's just there to drop the kids off to soccer, and Cooper...holy shit I didn't even recognize him.
