Sucked, not worth it. Contains spoilers for the awful plot
Overall the game had great production values. That's where the money went. Gameplay-wise, the first half was too simple and the second half didn't change much and was a little more boring. Got sick of the stupid head-resizing puzzle in both acts, and the rewiring puzzles in the 2nd act. The story was moronic. The first half had a decent setup. 2 teenagers were trapped in life, one by tradition and one literally by overbearing "parents," and they managed to break out of it and swap places at the end. What would happen to them both, they get to somewhat see the world the other had to live in, and oh, hey, maybe a metaphor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the second half comes along and it was goddamn aliens harvesting <s>virgins</s> girls to liquefy them into immortality juice. They created some elaborate monster/spaceship hoax to have a teenage boy pick the girls, because teenage boys have some innate ability to choose the best girls that the aliens lack because reasons (that's honestly as deep as the explanation gets). The aliens have been doing this for generations. Seriously, that's the big reveal. It's so stupid and nonsensical. I also don't see why it took an extra year for act 2. It's not any longer or more polished than the first, they reuse every single location from the first with no new ones, and there's no new characters. At best, this is a mediocre adventure game and doesn't deserve the hype and praise.
