That was my experience with Shadowrun's combat

So much for balanced difficulty.[/quote] No real challenge until you hit parts where the enemy always getting the first turn (even when you have total surprise like kicking in the door to a place you snuck into) means critical hitting AoE spells and grenades crippling your party which is still bunched up into non-combat follow mode. Setting it to Very Hard to make typical combat situations a challenge meant auto-death during the bullshit door kicking parts.[/quote]
