Then there's no easy way to switch targets, so I have to unlock a certain target and twirl around like a ballerina until the fucking target pops onto the enemy I want and then lock on. And heaven help you if you have one enemy targeted, but happen to want to attack another guy that ran up in front of you. NOSIR, you're just going to swing right past him. Everything is more tedious and time consuming than it should be. There's bags and items on the ground to loot, but noooooooooooooooooooope not if you're in combat. And once all of the enemies are dead, you have to wait 5 seconds for reasons before you're allowed to start looting items. And your camera has to be positioned JUST <I>SO</I> to pick something up, and the loot button is the same as the attack button so if your sword is out when you try to loot and your aim isn't pixel-perfect you're going to swing your sword and pass right over the item, requiring you to circle around and make another pass. *HUGE SIGH* And that ambush! You get off a boat and have to walk into town that is literally about 20 feet away, except you have to circle around a big rock to get there so it takes a little longer. And then, oh no!, you're ambushed! We should move quickly! I have to carry Triss! Geralt, fight off the ambushers! And then the guy just leisurely strolls through the woods like he's on a fucking nature hike with Triss over his shoulder, trading wacky dialog while I'm fighting off the elven hordes. There's no sense of urgency, other than when Rouche randomly starts barking orders, "TRISS! USE YOUR MAGIC! GERALT, KILL THEM ALL! ~A tisket, a tasket...~ *skips along*" And why does drinking potions require me to watch a long boring 10 second animation of my guy drinking, discarding a jar, and then slowly wiping the sweat from his brow, AND IF AT ANY FUCKING MOMENT DURING THAT ENTIRE SEQUENCE AN ENEMY ENGAGES YOU IN COMBAT THE ACTION IS CANCELLED AND YOU DON'T ACTUALLY DRINK ANYTHING. Why does it take forever to navigate in and out of the meditation menu in general? Why does doing anything in the inventory screen suck so bad? Why am I level 6 with 5 talent points but I can't spend them on anything? Does this shit unlock at a certain level and then I can spend all of my hoarded points? I never played the first Witcher so I didn't know about the banging and naked boobs, but it sounds like there's even less of both in this one. Is there any reason to continue?[/quote]
