Remember when I was writing my own game.
While this is as far to a finished product as I got : http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/468771/Release.zip (Use a throw-away email address for that shit, I have no idea how badly the file host will spam you.) Also I haven't done anything malicious but code is code and it may end up raping your dog by mistake in which case I cannot take personal responsibility. It is written in XNA so you will need the following redistributable - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914 It's basically Atari tanks. A bit. Kind of. Also Player 1 AWDS left-Ctrl shoot Player 2 Cursor Keys space to shoot. X quits. -------------- After knocking that puppy together I started with the serious business of coding something a little more seriously. I got as far as to create the framework for a game which I worked on for about 9 months. Got a generic persistence mechanism, XML format and reader which allowed for custom star systems and their child objects as well as a quest system allowing for multiple branching and chaining of different quests and rewards. A system allowing for multiple sprites to be layers allowing for a fully customisable, modular items in the game. Also there was a generic menu system (Also configured via XML.) Then I got bored. Hit some major personal shit which was about as unfun as personal shit can get and I haven't looked at it since. So it goes. Poo-tee-weet.
