It is the straw that broke the camel's back as far as the shitty, ultraworthless game writing field went. Tie that into his editors handwaving as briskly as possible to say that <i>nothing wrong happened</i> and you have the outrage. It's the fucking arrogance on the side of the journalists when they were caught in a basic ethics shitstorm that added fuel to it. And saying, "we all knew that games journalism was corrupt" isn't the point. The point is that it was far worse than anyone could have imagined and they all -- collectively, in their google group -- decided to still lecture. [/quote]
