The truth is it's a more complex combination of people fed up with game journalism shittiness, the post-Braid indie scene trend of promoting shitty undeserving games WITH A MESSAGE, and the agenda driven finger waggling of professional protestors too stupid to realize that they're backing jack Thompson 2.0 just because it's not an old white male republican behind the message. Some people are so TRIGGERED by fedoras that they're willing to believe there's an anti-woman conspiracy out to tear down talented women like Zoe Quinn to keep the them out of the field, because why else would someone not be scooped up by companies when the quality of Depression Quest is so obvious?[/quote]
