I think it's terrible that publishers dictate a lot of review content and scores, I think it's awful that journalists all collude on some terrible daily "message" and release 10 articles squeaking the same thing within hours, I think it's garbage that journos can call out game developers for sexism that they believe is hurtful to women and then get involved with female developers, knowing how it would look to the actual women-hating gamers that are out there. I also think that when multiple people with Editor in Chief positions view all this and shake their heads and say NOPE, no problem here that it's pretty much bullshit. I think that saying for 20 years that Col. Grossman and Jack Thompson are full of shit and that video game violence can't affect you while turning around and saying that a slutty-dressed chick in a game, well, that really CAN mess you up is just stupid. I think Twitter ought to be tied to a credit card in North America & Europe and I'm doing everything I can reasonably manage in my own life to further the advancement of women and minorities in technical / gaming fields. But I also think that a complete lack of ethics on the part of everyone involved from the game reporting side is total bullshit. But I also expect nothing less from them. Most of them are trying to work for a video game company and took this route because they'd rather engage in all this bullshit than learn how to draw or program. They are lazy. Most of them are corrupt. They don't care because who could care about the field? I know they all have moronic agendas, I know they all take solace in acting like prissy teens together in mailing lists, awkwardly trying to bully one another if there's a single dissenter to the party line. None of them have any idea what "misogyny" means other than its new definition that they created which is, "Here is something I don't like." They deserve the be called out for their hilarious lack of professionalism in the same way that they were called out for it when they were just Cntl-Cing, Cntl-Ving headlines 15 years ago.
