It's the action man's Diablo, with a Crimsonland sort of feel when things start going to shit. I started Valk and switched to Faggot Elf, my stock Fantasy Game character. Warrior is a shit. My friend was playing Wizard, the main reason you'd want to play this game. There will be fights over who gets the Wizard. The wiz plays like a stripped down Invoker from DotA. Three buttons for three elements, plug in a permutation of two elements to pick a spell from 9 total, fire away. Each spell is on its own internal cooldown proportional in length to the spell's power, so you will be cycling through shit in a desperate attempt to stop getting your ass pounded. Fun! Elf is also pretty good. He has the best aoe clear with the bomb, and the bomb can be attached to the infinite range sniper arrow after you've unlocked it (won't take too long). Bomb cooldown feels pretty long, and normal sniper arrow is pretty shit at damaging spawners, so I don't think I'd want to solo with him. He has the best getaway move, though. I also enjoyed Valk, who does linear spear charges (nothing new there), has a shield that can be aimed independent of movement direction, and does a Captain America homing shield throw. Warrior is still a shit. Total playthrough time was about 10 hours on normal. I don't feel cheated for spending $20, though the last boss fight was underwhelming. Could have used another act. -/ES/- Play this with a gamepad. Really.
