Stuff I'm iffy about -The combat system now includes unit facing and flanking attacks, the kicker being your units automatically to turn face every attacker, including ranged units. It doesn't matter if your dragon is getting pelted on the ass with rocks, it will turn to face the rock thrower and expose its ass to the archon titan standing next to it. The computer is very good at juggling a unit's facing by hitting it from multiple directions and getting maximum backstabbage, and late game strategies seem to revolve around hordes of attack-of-opportunity ignoring fliers stabbing each other in the ass. This is kind of frustrating but can be an interesting combat puzzle in itself. I'm still on the fence about it.
Stuff that sucks [...] -The game is a lot harder to read now that it has 3D graphics.
I'd add here that trying to figure out which direction each unit is facing in 30+ unit battle is huge pain in the ass, particularly when someone has cast the smoke cover spell and it looks like everything is swimming in a sea of jizz
