Re: What don't you like about iOS? It seems to fit your uses

Windows Phone would work as well, and the lack of many apps wouldn't hurt you. -/ES/-
I hate iOS because I had an iPhone 3gs. It did not have sufficient hardware to accomplish anything. I don't know why, but Apple's walled garden also annoys me on a personal level. I have always been completely unimpressed with the actual technology behind their stuff. I had to install Cydia on my iPhone for some basic functionaliy, and Cydia was designed by a fucking retard. I realize that's not Apple's fault, but it kind of is. The thing that finally did it for me, the thing that made me swear off iPhones was that they added some software in an update to take you to a search screen if you hit the button on the iPhone twice in a row. So what happened every single time I used the piece of shit was: 1) Hit that button to get to the home screen 2) Nothing happened for three seconds. "LOL must not have registered! I'll hit it again!" 3) It registers both presses. It was INFURIATING. And there was no way to turn it off. I guess another way to put this was that the iPhone made me angry every single day I had it.
