Hard drive prices have finally come back! 2TB, $85, internal OR USB
[quote name="Commander Tansin A. Darcos"]Micro Center is selling, for $84.99, 2 billion byte hard drives, in your choice of internal SATA or external USB 3.0. It only took about 2 years but the price is back where I was when I bought the one that's in my other computer, a 2TB internal, and it might actually have been $89 when I bought it. It was only a few months after I bought it that there was that hard drive crash in Asia - nice pun there - and prices spiked for about two years. Note that technically it's not a "2 terabyte" as the drive is 2x1000^4, not 2x1024^4, the difference is about 140 gigabytes more space, a true 2 terabyte drive is 2,199,023,255,552 bytes or 2048 gigabytes vs the standard 2 billion byte hard drive is 1863 gigabytes.
