Don't be the only kid on your block without a gun when the zombie apocalypse hits![/quote] Back before all the hysteria happened, circa the early 1960s, people routinely traveled by plane, if they had a gun they just carried it in their briefcase or on them, because it wasn't illegal then and people weren't searched. It was a much simpler time. Kids who were in shooting clubs at school or had classes in school where they did shooting they would routinely bring their rifle and ammo with them, and put it in the back of the classes that they had before shooting class. (Tou wouldn't want to leave a rifle in a locker or somewhere you weren't able to watch it, not because of fears of it being used to shoot other kids, but because someone would probably break into your locker, steal it and pawn or sell it.) Nobody thought much about it. As for your hyperbole and idiotic commentary, are you aware that in the case of every single school shooting, the shooter either was taking psychotropic drugs or was withdrawing from them? Take a look at these numbers. It isn't the posession of guns, it's the use of wierd drugs to keep "troublemaker" kids doped up and complacent that causes these problems. Before schools started routinely doping up kids to keep them from being a pest, we never had these sort of mad spree killings on a regular basis. Check it out.
