They got the engine awhile back so they could, you know, make their own game out of it, and were beyond that disallowed to release their game prior to HL2's upon threat of legal action. This in no way excuses the hoiky-joiky Vamp experience as is (however, like fahbs, my midrange rig plays the game fairly well post-patches with some minor Options tweaks), but your Big Question of the Day is threatening to go unanswered for you, CO, and FUCK WE CAN'T HAVE <I>THAT</I>.[/quote]
