velopment set in the incredibly diverse and pessimistic WH40K universe. Eisenhorn and Ravenor deal with one of the most interesting facets of the setting, the Imperial Inquisition. Forget about space marines, this is secret agent stuff. Read Eisenhorn first. The long running Gaunt's Ghosts series is set in Imperial Guard territory, the lowest foot soldiers. Kind of a WW2 vibe. Lord of the Night is a personal favorite. What happens when a supremely sadistic chaos space marine, just woken from a ten thousand year hibernation, is set loose in a vast, isolated Imperial hive city-tower densely populated by ignorant fools? Hilarity and genocide. Highly recommended.
