It's about the size of a stick of gum, It's inserted into the vagina as close to the cervix as possible, melts into a gel when it touches moisture, and after 15 minutes it's supposed to provide protection for about 3 hours. Neither partner can feel it when it is in use. I used to think the female condom was kind of overpriced but it has at least one advantage over male condoms. The guy does not have to pull out immediately after ejaculation during vaginal intercourse, which is the requirement when using a male condom. Female condoms can be used vaginally or anally same as male ones. [/quote]
