I'm playing Bulletstorm right now, and that game uses ACTUAL SPEEDBUMPS.
Every once in a while you'll come to a single, unbroken waist-high wall stretching from one side of the corridor (you are ALWAYS in a corridor, ESPECIALLY when you're outdoors) to the other. The only way to pass this obstacle is by pressing 'A' to vault over it. HOWEVER, don't think you can just run up to the wall and leap over in one smooth motion, because it's not a regular 'A', it's a context-sensitive 'A'. So you need to approach the wall, wait for the button prompt, respond to the button prompt, and watch a short first-person "vaulting" animation for every fucking one of these things. It would actually be a hilarious skewering of the Unreal Engine's limitations, if they didn't make you do it over and over again. (Just like everything else in Bulletstorm?)
