Thanks a pantload, guys. At least my legendary armor looks good. Did they spend some of my skill points for me based on my imported save? Why am I level 6 and I only have one talent to assign? Hey, combat controls like an action game! They put those 3 combat styles and their silly "swish! swish!" timing game in the trash where they belong. The biggest learning curve for me was finding that rolling does not give me momentary invincibility like in DMC. Combat will also fuck you up worse than part 1 if you're inattentive. Fortunately, redoing that part in the dungeons let me exchange a scene where I negotiate with a baroness as she sits at a table for one where I save her from torture and see her tits for good measure! I see replay value in this game's future. Gasp! This is supposed to be a dark fantasy game and I'm in a poor town, what are they thinking using colors besides grey and brown? Aww, they uglied up the hookers, probably to make your steady girlfriend look better. Did the penny arcade guys consult on this? It's a pity that god of war and its QTEs set the standard for giant monster fights instead of Shadow of the Colossus. Overall I'd say a complete improvement over the original and damned fun in its own right.[/quote]
